Custom Logo FAQs
Send Us Your Logo for a Free Evaluation
You can start the process by sending us your logo for a free evaluation. Our
experienced designers will give you recommendations about logo treatment and custom
sportswear applications.
When you have placed an order for a custom logo'd product the process of
converting your logo to embroidery-ready form, or separating your design to produce screens,
may take up to seven days. We will send an email form asking a few general questions and for
your authorization. One-time set-up charges usually apply except when ordering an
Intro-Special. Once we have your logo/design set-up, it is available to you as is for
re-orders at no additional charge.
When set-up is complete, we will send you a scan of your logo for your
review. Simply reply by e-mail with an approval, and LogoSoftwear.com will begin
production immediately. Within one week, (excluding shipping time), you will be wearing
your very own company Logo'd sportswear and making a bold advertising statement everywhere
you go!
Getting Your Logo To Us
You can send your logo via our upload tool found in
the personalization interface of the shopping cart or via email attachment, to
Info@LogoSoftwear.com or as attachment
to any email from a customer service representative. An email attachment is sent by clicking
the file attachment "paper clip" or tool bar button in your email program.
You can send your logo in many different types of formats. Logos sent in
vector formats are preferred. File types such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, and EPS
would be our primary choices. Other common types such as .jpeg, .gif, and .tif are
acceptable. The logo you send should be actual size or larger, with a resolution of at least
150 dots per inch. 300 dots per inch is preferable.
Fonts And Type-Styles
If you know the name of the font used in the text of your logo please
include it. There are thousands of type styles and it can be difficult to determine which
of them your organization has chosen. Identifying the font ahead of time can avoid time
consuming delays.

Set-ups And Fees For Embroidery
You can have your own custom logo converted into a rich, three-dimensional, embroidery format absolutely FREE when you purchase just (6) of any one style of our garments. This is a savings of $95! This offer applies only to left chest or cap size embroidered logos with maximum embroidery size of 4" diameter and up to 10K stitches. First time customers who order less than (6) of a style will be charged a one-time logo set-up fee of $95. High stitch count logos, large size or full back embroidery requires higher stitch density and will require a set-up and run charges.
There are NO minimum orders or setup fees for existing customers who already have their logo in embroidery-ready format.
Set-ups And Fees For Screenprinting
Our in-house screen printing department can print your one to seven color art
work on light or dark colored garments. For screen printing it is necessary to receive vector
art, (Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, etc.) If it is not possible to send vector art, a "re-draw"
fee may apply. This charge is billed at a rate of $80.00/hr. based on a minimum of $40.00
and a maximum of $120 for approved designs. You will be notified if this charge is necessary.
Once we have the logo re-drawn it is available to use in any application without further ART
charges.
Screenprinted Screen Charges
Every color in your design requires a screen of its own. We have a one-time
charge to produce these screens of $20.00 each. You are NOT subject to this fee when you
purchase any of our screen print packages.
Even though we may not physically keep your screen in stock, you will only be
billed for a screen charge one time. Future orders are subject to a $5.00 per color fee to reset
the print machine.
Problem Logos / Designs
Some logos can not be embroidered as is. Our team will evaluate your logo at
no charge and advise you as to any technical issues that can make the logo problematic for
embroidery. If we find any problems we will notify you. Design elements which create problems
include text which is too small (generally text should be ¼ inch tall or greater), color
gradations, and shadowing around text or graphics. When we encounter these problems we will
work with you to find acceptable alterations which will keep the integrity of your logo intact.
To achieve these results we may need to re-draw logos to make them "embroidery friendly". There
is a charge for this service and you will be notified if this Art charge is necessary. This
charge is billed at an hourly rate of $50.00/hr. based on a minimum of $25.00 and a maximum
of $100 for approved designs. The average charge is $35.00 per logo. Once we have the logo
re-drawn it is available to use in any application without further ART charges. The re-draw
and embroidery stitch file remain on file for any future order.
Design Colors
LogoSoftwear.com will attempt to reproduce the colors of your logo as
seen in the file attachment you send us. If your organization requires specific Pantone colors,
include that information in an e-mail to us or in the comments section of our upload tool. We
will make every attempt to reproduce your exact logo colors, but please be aware that the
thread color may vary slightly from the Pantone color.
Graphics Turn-around Time:
Once we agree on an acceptable logo treatment and colors and fonts are known,
the logo is ready to be converted to embroidery form. Our graphics/digitizing department will require
up to five business days to process each logo. When they have completed the process we will e-mail
to you a scan of the way your logo will look.
Approval of 'Embroidery-Ready' Logo:
You Must Reply to the e-mail we send to you containing the 'embroidery ready' logo
with an approval before your garments can be sewn!
Simply review the graphic and use the 'reply' option on your menu bar. Include
a brief sentence of acceptance of the work we have done with the logo.
If the logo is not acceptable to you, send it back to us along with an explanation of
your concerns. We will work with you to correct the problems, then repeat the steps above for approval.
Production Time:
Production will take three to five days from the day we receive your approval of representation
of your logo.
Shipping Time
Shipping to you will be UPS. Orders will be shipped within two weeks of design approval unless
other arrangements are made. Be aware that we will not be held responsible for delayed delivery in the event of late
approval notification.
