Custom Golf Trends
When it comes to the latest design and fabrication trends in logo golf
apparel, remember golf is most often played in warm to hot weather over the
course of four-plus hours. Logo golf apparel must address the player's need
to stay comfortable in changing temperatures while helping enhance his/her
performance on the course. Staying dry and comfortable will help make
golfing more enjoyable than playing in a sweat-soaked shirt for five hours.
One of the trends in logo golf apparel is a large selection of technical
fabrics offering golfers the promise of a comfort. The fabrics extend to all
apparel categories. New and improved tech materials have made windshirts
quieter and lighter. Wind-sweaters are better at keeping golfers warm and
dry. UV-coated fabrics can keep the sun's harmful rays from burning your
skin.
Beyond Function
The changes in logo golf apparel aren't limited to advanced technical
fabrics. New silhouettes and fits have been created with the understanding,
as noted above, that golf is a sport. There's not one size or silhouette to
fit all. The generous oversized fit is the most common, but the slimmer more
European fit is becoming increasingly popular, especially with those under
35. Finally, the half-sleeve mock neck trend worn by Tiger Woods started a
couple of years ago. Logo golf apparel companies have updated this with the
use of technical fabrics and great new colors.
And speaking of color, brights are back. White and navy will always sell,
but some die-hard golfers are looking for something new to add to their
wardrobe. Many of the new tech fabrics lend themselves especially well to
bright colors, since their physical properties hold color better than
cotton. Additionally, the fabrics, if properly cared for, can be quite
durable. Accents are also important. More emphasis is being put on trims,
zippered plackets, self-fabric collars and other eye-catching details that
might make a particular shirt stand out.
Golf-inspired logo styles can be found off the course too due to coporate
casual trends. Cotton blends and non-cotton performance fabrics are also
available in a wide variety of price points and styles.

Golf Promotional Products Trends
Trends in golf promotional products include still longer tees because the
popularity of bigger-head drivers continues to grow. The longer tees are
needed to prop the balls up higher.
Golf promotional products are always popular as tournament giveaways. Also
popular this year are premium clubs and logo golf balls.
For logo golf balls, Titleist is coming out with a new version of its Pro V1
and the Calloway golf ball that Phil Mickelson plays with is getting a lot
of attention. Also look for the Wilson Hope Ball, a logo ball specially
produced with a clear or pink cover. Wilson makes a cash contribution to the
Breast Cancer Research Foundation for every purchase.
Another golf promotional product getting attention because of the pro tour
is a rescue club - part iron, part wood. It has the length of a 2-iron but
the head of a wood.
