Our First Baby Shower

This is our first baby, and mom wasn't able to come to her 1st baby shower. She was in the hospital because of blood pressure issues, and the baby wasn't getting enough oxygen. It hurt her so bad not to be there, but she told me to go so I can represent the both of us. So I took her jersey and hung it on the wall to represent her.

In this photo, my entire family (4 sisters with 4 boyfriends) had taken a trip to Italy for the summer. The boys were very upset because we would be abroad for the fourth of July--which is a big holiday for our family. As a surprise, we had these red-white-and-blue sports jerseys made up, and on the fourth the boys were incredibly happy to find we had a bit of the U.S. with us!
